Christine Liao
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
My name is Christine Liao (she/her). I’m originally from the west coast (California, Arizona, and Washington), but I currently reside in Virginia. I received my Masters of Social Work from Arizona State University with an emphasis in policy, administration, and community organizing. I’m the Programs Manager for the American Association for People with Disabilities, where I manage programs focusing on career and leadership development for emerging leaders with disabilities. While growing up, I often felt like I had to choose between my Chinese or Deaf identity. I look forward to being a part of AADI to cultivate an inclusive and intersectional space where people can show up authentically. Outside of work, I’m often hiking and searching on Yelp for the next food adventure (it usually involves tacos and ice cream).
